So, in fairness, I thought I'd share a couple of current, distinguished photos of my brother, now. His sweet wife told us to scoot together so she could take a Sibling Photo while we were at Applebee's the other night. This is the one Sara shot from the other angle. I chose hers because I look younger and skinnier. I told you........I'm vain. : )

Are you in the mood for a hilarious story? Is that a "yes" I heard? My mom was one of those mom's who insisted on putting the little silver strands of icicles on the tree ONE at a time!!! It paid off I guess because the trees always ended up looking like they came out of a magazine. SO this one year, when my brother and I were teenagers and the last kids still at home, Mom gave us the usual instructions of, "Now be sure to put the strands on one at a time." She then left the room to attend to some other business. About a minute after she left, my brother and I looked at each other with THAT LOOK on our faces, and simultaneously threw our entire wad right into the tree and commenced to fall apart laughing. I think we both just had to know how it would feel to throw caution to the wind and do the unthinkable. What a dork I was. Not you Steve... you were never a dork. : ) Hey...were we HIP or what? That was a rhetorical question!!
As soon as I arrived today, my mom took me right to her back porch to see the progress her geraniums are making. She is very proud of them. Thanks June and Ron for getting these started for her.
After I made us some lunch, we sat and watched What's Up Doc. This is my all-time favorite Comedy. If you have never seen it, it's a must!! Run out and rent it this weekend. It's one of those movies where you say, "It can't possibly get any funnier.". . .and then it does...right up to the very end. Really! : )
And don't forget, it's Ballet Day for the munchkins. Which happens to be just around the corner from GG. My married daughter took over my Wednesday last week while I was gone. Thanks sweet girl!

I used my Tim Holtz disc for the picture of the little girl. I just printed her off.
The strings holding up the cloud and moon went up and through the cardboard above, then I taped them down on top. I distressed the paper a bit and added stamps and postmark stickers.
Christmas earrings I got for 75% at Target after the holidays. I knew I would use them in my crafting.
Very sloppy job of Mod podge and tissue paper on the back, but it sure was a fast way to cover everything.
Clear as mud? Ha-ha! CAUTION...do not try this at home... unless you have an entire day to devote to it. But what a FUN day it was! : )
No fun projects today. We had two appointments...one with the Dr. and one at the Lab.
But, something fun did happen. We got my Mom's Community Director to agree to put some patio furniture in the small little alcove in front of her apartment. She has her own nice set in back, but also wanted to enjoy the outdoors in front.
The little ballerinas and their mommy came by after ballet class today to say hi.
And just to give equal time to my little grandson, last Saturday I got to have him over for some Nana time. First we went to a wedding reception for just a short stay, then we came home and played.
Here are the little toys he brought in his back pack this time. The turtles and frogs were "friends". : )
