Well, I waited until the end of the week, hoping temps. would go down and seem remotely like Fall... but to no avail. So I decorated in 105 degrees. I'm sure I will receive a letter in the mail from our HOA saying, "What were you thinking?"
Of course these are artificial...you know...105*.
I purchased Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim from Big Lots a fews years ago and the "carved" pumpkin and wreath on the door from Marshall's (a sister Co. to TJ Maxx). I always appreciate knowing where each of you get your finds. : )
Well, that's all for now. I have certainly enjoyed looking at all your inspirational ideas. And a big "thank you" to Melissa @ http://theinspiredroom.net/
Thanks for stopping by. I love all of your fall decorations and your daughter's room is fabulous. So soft and pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour fall door is so pretty. It will be artificial pumpkins here too. I am ready to decorate, and they would be mush before October. The mustard color and red in your rooms does look really good together. It brightens the room so much. Jackie
ReplyDeleteLove your front door! The garland is exactly what I'm looking for to put on my mantle. It's still warm in CT, but I put out my fall decorations yesterday. This Fall Nesting Week has been very inspirational.
ReplyDeleteVery welcoming entry you have! :o)
Wow, I love what you did with those stencils! That is a gorgeous room! I love it. Your little pincushion strawberry is darling. I might have to steal that idea. Always looking for quick and easy gifts. Don't you love Marshalls? I don't think we have any here in Utah but when I lived in Calif. I spent some money in that place (but always great bargains). I also love the mustard and red together. As you can tell by my house red is a neutral in my opinion. Beautiful...Mimi
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely- maybe with the fall decorations out- it will encourage the weather to be cooler :}
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall
Hi! I've love looking at your Fallness! Your front door and porch area are just stunning! I love the little bench with your fake pun'kins!! I love fake. It's hot here, in the 90s, but not as hot as at your house!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I am totally in love with your couch in the fall post. Just let me know where you live and I'll be by to get it. :)
ReplyDeleteYour fall decor is so pretty! I love the pumpkins on the bench by the door! As soon as I saw your pilgrim couple, I knew they were from Big Lots! :) They have them again this year! I love Big Lots!
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom below is FABULOUS! I had no idea the pattern on the walls was a stencil until I read your post! You did an awesome job, the entire room is just beautiful!

Your living room says "Mary Lou!" It is so lovely--and you are ready for Fall! Your porch is darling. Though the temps are high, we can look at your decor and dream of cooler days and nights. Love you tons!
