But... before I can make that (above), I need to finish this (below).
This is how far I've gotten so far (below). I need to keep pushing through until I complete it. It has been SO fun to make, so far.
The pattern came from this book:
And speaking of sewing, I purchased this darling purse, with small make-up bag, from Cyndi's Re-Creations in her Etsy Shop here.
And a big THANK YOU to Ruth Ann for this Giveaway I won, below. She included lots of extra goodies along with the movie. We finally watched it last night. I was impressed that it had a meaningful message and wasn't just a frivolous romance.

I adore quilts! I just don't make them. But I envy you ladies who have the patience and talent to do so. Yours is looking wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt you are working on! Summer goal - make my first quilt - beware sewing machine! Absolutely took my breath away to see your mother's honeymoon picture at the Grand Cannyon! Reminds me of my "clueless" visit there! Another story! Have a wonderful week! E
ReplyDeleteYour current quilt project is beautiful as well as your soon to start quilt project. Quilting is a beautiful art. It's on my list of items to try soon.

ReplyDeleteI love your header on your blog. Such cute Easter decor. I guess I should think about getting mine out. I'm in the middle of projects so thought maybe I wouldn't decorate this year but I have some great things I added to my collection last year that you are inspiring me to get out.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on winning the giveaway. Lucky you. I never win any.
The quilt you're working on is great! Love the Ava Rose charm packs!
ReplyDeleteI'm always so impressed by quilters! Looks like your working hard! They're lovely!
ReplyDeleteYour new fabric is beautiful and will make a great quilt. Your basket quilt is a super design. I took a quilting class once...long ago and we did everything by hand, piecing, sewing and quilting. I made 4 pillows learning basic nine patch, curved piecing, applique and trapunto. I never made a big quilt....but I do collect them and have them hanging all over the walls of our house. They truly are beautiful works of art. Can't wait to see your finished masterpiece!
