We're having so much fun picking out all the details of these little dresses. I thought I would show you the process of making the diamond grid. I just drew it on the back, with pencil, first.
Next, I ironed the lines I would be sewing on. I thought I would sew all one direction first and then all the other direction, second...but I misjudged how much it would take to cut out two bodices. Learn as you go! : )
I made these three little roses, below, but we're still deciding on that.
My younger daughter, Sara, took these photos of the little sisters recently. Great job, girl!! : )

Oh goodness I love the dresses. And who can't love those adorable babies.
first of all, OMG! they are the most precious little things ever!! second of all your daughter took amazing pictures and third of all.... OMG... youre making those diamond in those dresses?!! wow... I am totally impressed. I vote yes for the flowers on them. Cant wait to see them finished and on the sisters. (as youve called them, which I love also by the way... "the sisters"!!)

OMGosh girlfriend, what gorgeous dresses for such gorgeous girls!!!! That sewing is something I would have attempted maybe a 100 years ago, but it would drive me crazy in my old age now.
