HOME AGAIN

The quilt we each took up to work on.
Our accommodations.
Margie and me.
Margie and Lori. We mostly did lots of this.

Li'l old me, below.

But we also did lots of this. That's Harrison Ford in 'Sabrina'.
And LOTS of this.
OOPS! How did this picture get in here? Margie made me promise not to post this burnt cheese crisp. Sorry Margie...that's what happens when your priorities are messed up. Hee-hee!!
Making progress.
We all got to this point. Now we just have to make the yo-yo cherries and stems.
(See photo at the top).
My workspace.
I also got around to adding the small blue border around my basket quilt and started on the polka-dot borders.

And for the grand finale...we try to always make matching pillowcases for each retreat we go on. So this is what we came up with this time.

I thought I'd throw in this photo from another retreat two summers ago.

Sew cute! : )

  3. Wow! What a fun time you've had this week and you accomplished so much! The cherry baby quilt is adorable (M.E. came to mind right away) but I really love your basket quilt. Can't wait to see it when it's finished and where you display it. The pillow cases are awesome-what a great touch. There is nothing as great as spending time with friends all doing the things they love!
    Have a great week!
