Wednesdays With My Mom

Dear Friends, just dropping in to let you know my mom is in the hospital receiving many tests to see why a sudden pain in her lower right hip has made it painful for her to walk. They're testing everything to be sure. I PROMISE to keep you updated if anything changes, but in the meantime I will continue to be MIA in blogland. Our family is praying that she will be comforted, that her pain won't get too out of hand and that the doctors will be able to give us some answers soon. If you feel so inclined, we would love for you to add your prayers to ours.
Many thanks,
Mary Lou

  28. I would love to pray for your sweet mom and wish her many well wishes. I pwill also pray the doctors will find a quick diagnoss and she can be more comfortable.

It is so hard to watch our parents age. My FIL had two more mini strokes last week, is so thin and his mind slips more each day.
My own mom's lupus is flaring up and they think she needs a hernia surgery and is schedhuled for tomorrow. I am so grateful a loving Heavenly Father is so aware of our every need and is in charge. Please take care of YOU so you can care for her! ~♥

  32. Hi Mary Lou,
I was so sad to read about your mom's pain ~ but then so happy to find out you had some medical answers. I'll be praying for her often ~ that the Lord would comfort her physically and emotionally. For you and your family too ~ that He would fill you all with peace in the midst of all that's going on.

And may I just say (because I know how much your mother loves fashion) ~ she looks awesome in black and white!!! : )
