My Mother's Aprons

Here's a sweet article I've saved in my files since 1994. It's such a poignant article that I couldn't throw it out, and now I get to share it with each of you.

Just click on the magazine article below and enjoy a trip down memory lane. : )

Foo-ey, I meant to post this adorable pic when I announced the three winners yesterday. But it's still worth a giggle today. (How do you spell Foo-ey, anyway???)

Addendum: Just added today. Happy crafting!!! : )

Wonderful article. I am one of those Moms/Nanas that wear aprons to this day. I love them. I make, buy, or receive them as gifts.

My Granddaughter came in one day and saw one hanging on the wall in my kitchen ( I like to display the ones I wear for that day on the wall) she asked what it was and I told her. She must have been 3 at the time. I made her one and now she wears one when she helps me bake.

Thank you for sharing the article. I'd like to have Enrichment at my house this summer for a garden party. I'd like to use this for that. Do you mind sharing? I thought how fun to hang apron's fromt he clothes line, and give this article to each lady. Would you mind if I used it?

Have a great day.

Thank you so much for coming....How have I missed your cute blog?? I keep thinking I've found all the really cute ones, but NOT SO! I'm so glad to "meet" you.

My Mum used to wear an apron most of the time. She was so darn cute in them. Thanks so much for the sweet comment about her. She really was a darling mother and I miss her so much.

I'm so glad you get to spend Wednesdays with your mom. How wonderful for BOTH of you. ;-)

Blessings,
Spencer

Hey...it's me...Deb...one of your winners...and my daughter is soooo excited. I sent her the pic of what I'd won and she sent me an e-mail about how disappointed she was that she had missed your give-a-way...I couldn't let her be that upset...so I told her it was for her!! Happy, happy girl she is!!! Thanks again!!
Oh...as for the pic of the 3 ladies...if they're an example of your 3 winners...I have to be the chubbier one in the center...but she needs some gray hair!!! ha! ha!
Have a blessed Sunday!!!

Hello! I wanted to let you know that my beautiful ornament came today for my daughter who will be comming for a visit tomorrow, Sun. I am saving my post until she receives the gift. I hope your shop has all success because truly you are such a talented artist. The detail of this ornament is so perfectly perfect and so much more beautiful in person. Thank you for all that you share. Elizabeth

Are you sure you got the right Mimi? Just making sure! Wonderful article, love the picture. Got your wonderful package today. I LOVE IT!! It's so perfect for my bedroom. I have a shelf that needs some cute knobs to hang it from. I'll post about it this week. Hard to blog or do little projects when we've got a big project (the shed) going. I feel the need to hand the mister the hammer or bring him a cold drink when he needs it. Thank you again my dear, it's perfect! Mimi

Congratulations on your 100th post
I stumbled onto your blog to late
It's nice you are able to visit your mother every week. My mother lives a couple of hours away, I do get to see her about every other month.
Have a great weekend!

Lovely article! And I love the picture too, I wanna be the one on the left, she looks saucy...which I'm decidedly not. : )
