Wednesdays With My Mom

Just a short one today.Little Diana's getting older now and so adorable. I love these old photos of my parents. For those of you who haven't been tuned in from the beginning, I should let you know that my parents bought a new camera when they were engaged and loved experimenting with all the settings and taking it with them everywhere they went. I can't get over the legacy they left for us because of this one wonderful purchase.

My Dad use to call Diana his "Little Firecracker" because she was born on the 4th of July. : )
Opening mail from her children and grand children on this day last week.

Children always make my mom smile. So I thought I would tape these two great grand children to the water bottles so she see could them each day for a while.
Ballet has started back up, so my two little ballerinas came by for a visit.

I will be posting another Tutorial next post. I didn't want you to think I would stop doing them, since I opened my Etsy shop. Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday.

My folks bought a camera when they got married - it's so special to see all those special memories!

I wore your nest necklace again yesterday. I had two errands to run on the way home from work and at each place I got a compliment on it! Everyone lovers it!

Makes me wish my grandparents would have taken more pictures, for sure. Never have seen more than a couple shots that were candid, which are my favorites!

It truly is wonderful that your parents had a camera and took so many pictures. Lexi won't start back in dance until August....she gets a break through the summer.

There are such lovely things in your Etsy shop! I hope you are doing well. I can't wait for your tutorial. I have been looking for things to make your "canned doll", I just love it! This week's photo is such a treasure. Your mom is pregnant? Your father's sweater is just too, too. You have inspired me to ask my sisters-in-law to bring an old suitcase of photos to our graduation parties this weekend. All the good ones are gone, but who knows. I might have a Wednesday treasure for you! Have a lovely week! E (P.S. You are in my giveaway!) Check back on Thursday!

I've read this feature of yours before, but I've never left a comment. (I never realized how much comments mean until I started blogging myself.)

My mom died almost 10 years ago, when I was just 36. She was only 58 years old when she died. For a long time, it was hard for me to think about anyone getting to do anything with their moms. I'm so glad that now I can just be happy for you that you get to spend time with your mother. And I'm glad that you're such a good daughter to her. You're the kind of daughter I would want to be if my mom were still alive.

God bless you.

Hello! Just click on Pieceful Bits blue highlighted name to get to her blog and Etsy shop. I don't know how to put in links. Also, the next step you have to take for your shop is posting your pictures on flickr and putting your creations in groups. Once they are seen, watch out! You also need a flickr badge that flashes on the side as you see in mine. Just clicking on one of the little pictures takes your reader to your work. I only discovered flickr by clicking on alicia P's. I am going to let the right person with the right shop k now about you. It is THE shop to be in! Elizabeth
