Paper Fun and Frolic

This top little guy is one of the new items in my Shop. But first.......

I started the cute card below, over a year ago at a Scrapbooking Convention. I went with my SIL. (Fun times, Cindy)! But just recently I finished it up and gave it along with a graduation gift.

And then, I meant to share this with you weeks ago. But I couldn't publish it until AFTER my sister received it in case it would spoil her surprise. If you remember, my Dad use to call her his "little firecracker" because of her July 4th birthday. So I went a little crazy with the envelope. No surprises there!
Some of you may remember when I made this purse using a placemat for part of it last year. That's a real Levis Strauss pocket, with real Levis belt loops to hold on the straps. : )
Okay, onto the frolic...

I stayed up 'til the wee hours of the night with this guy.

This little girl below, pops out as 3-D because I put spacers behind her.

This fun banner may not look like much work, but I had to cut out three patterns for each triangle, then fancy cut each one. I could have made three, but the layered look was too hard to resist. I got my inspiration from two places...a photo in a Mary Engelbreit magazine and a post on Style Sisters last year. I asked her where she got hers and she said she found it in a little boutique in her neck of the woods and she bought the last two. Hers actually said: Halloween.
So, if there's anything here that tickles your fancy, click here to go to my Shop.

The little "Nightmare Before
Christmas" Halloween guy is awfully cute. I don't do Halloween decorating. :( What are you conjuring up in your brain for little Christmas-y things that I can stick in or on packages. Think wayyyyyyyyy ahead for me now, ML! Did you see the "countdown to Christmas" on the bottom of my blog page? I'm doing it just to be annoying. :)

I love your Halloween decor. I feel inspired to begin my holiday crafting. I first found your blog when you had made your paper mache Santa. I loved him. I now love this little skeleton guy too! You are so creative, thanks for sharing.

Wow-flying pumpkins! I was here shortly after you posted and the pumpkin guy and bingo girl had already flown the coop. I'm sure you'll do more, right? I've never been a big one for Halloween decorations but I've decided I need a few little things. Hard to think ahead to October but the way this summer is zooming by-it'll be here before we want it to be.

What cuteness! I love the grin on the pumpkinhead cone guy. And someone else must have really loved it because it was out of the shop before I could say "boo" ;)

I'm all mentally out of whack after all that Christmas crafting a few weeks ago but I think I can get myself into Fall mode soon enough.

Hi! I can't believe it's getting to be time for Halloween things, but I guess for you, it really is.
I have always thought about trying cards, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
I am always so impressed when I see your stuff here!

Hello! Just catching up on all the fun! OHHH, I'm too late to purchase your Halloween ornament. What amazingly beautiful work you do! Always inspirational! I have just returned from visiting all of my young nieces and their beautiful children. In my mind I picture them as Wednesday memories, never more beautiful than at this time of their lives. Thanks for sharing all that you do! Elizabeth
