"Black Dead Tree" Makes a Comeback!

Some of you may remember when I painted my black tree white, for Christmas and Springtime. Well, a big decision had to be made this Fall. Paint it black again, or be lazy? I can't believe I chose to do the right thing! : )
If you're just DYING to read the original story behind this "dead black tree", click HERE.

So far, I've just decided to hang my big Halloween Bingo cards from the tree.

Another "Instant Relative" from the Antique Store. : )
If you can see the bottom left corner, it says $7.95. Worth every penny. And don't worry, I didn't alter the original. The one above is a photocopy.

HAPPY DECORATING!!! : )

You are already decorating for Halloween? You are so good. I wish AZ would make up its mind and decide to be fall instead of summer still!

Oh those bingo cards of yours are adorable and they move me...deeply! Big smile. That tree is definitely a winner. Great job with the power tool-spray paint. Love it when a woman creates art with the spray paint can! So cute, you will just have to get another big branch for your Christmas tree-branch look. Your whole blog is wonderful!
Blessings,
Debbie

How hard did I laugh at the black dead tree story? Oh my goodness. I'm still wiping away the tears. Don't worry, I'm always getting caught doing something "weird" in the name of creativity!

I used to have a live tree in my house and I think it just got too rootbound and it died and I LOVED it when it was dead and leafless! I decorated it for everything!

All your Halloween goodies are darling. You have such a way of putting things together and they are always so fun and cute.

I love it! Everything about it is great from the branches to the bingo cards, to the birds. I was going to make one this year. I bought the urn but decided to do a pirate treasure chest display instead. No room for anything else.

Love your mantel display too. I put all mine in the window sill. (I have at least 12 Lori Mitchell figures.) I want to paint a canvas that looks like a neighborhood at night so my trick or treaters look like they are out collecting.

Want to trade a few charms or bingo cards for one of my Halloween garlands? Let me know.

And, last but not least. Sorry I missed you on your trip to SLC. You were so close.
