Shop Update and... Wednesdays With My Mom

YEA...we're back online. a BIG THANK YOU to the incredible Mr. K who helped us clean up our computer!!! You are our HERO! : )
First... Wednesdays with my mom. This photo is actually from the year my mom and dad married. I recently scanned lots of pics from the albums my amazing SIL put together, and thought this one was so adorable. So I'm putting it in even though it's out of chronological order as far as my 'Wednesdays' go.
I had to include this darling pic, below. Little Junie looks so precious leaning in close to her daddy. Dad is holding brand new little Steve.
Sweet Sara came with me last week. I think she was sitting on something which made her appear much taller than her grandmother, here.
My mom was thrilled to death when I offered to give her a haircut. She kept saying, "What would I have done if you hadn't come to do this today." So sweet!

Amy and Diana, this pic below is for you two. Mom/Grandmother loves the dolls you have given her. : )
Believe it or not, I've been able to squeak out a little time to make a few things for the Shop. I had just as much fun with the "photo shoot" as I did making the items, so I went a little crazy clicking away. Enjoy! : )

Because my computer was out of commission, I'll be spending the next few days catching up in Blogland. I've missed that!

It is so wonderful that you can cut your Mom's hair and keep it looking in tip top shape! Beautiful pictures of your Mom and your family as always.

I LOVE your new shop items and I have sent you an e-mail.♥

Lovely photo of your mom. I know sometimes a haircut is just what we need to feel better - I know she was grateful that you were so thoughtful. Her dolls are very pretty displayed too.

I love all your new pretties and I'm glad the computer is running smoothly again.

Your Mother looks beautiful. If she is like me she feels like a new woman when she gets her hair cut. Love you christmas things. Great job.

Your mom is a knockout in that photo and I LOVE the other with the "somebody loves their daddy" that was SO cute.

Your Christmas goodies are stunningly fabulous! I can't believe how quickly Christmas is approaching.

I so enjoy the old pictures....at least as much as the new ones :) I think you and your Sara are "twins," something my daughter and are told often. She is a cutie.

The ability to cut hair comes in handy, doesn't it? Gosh, she is so darn cute! Has she gotten markedly shorter with age? My mom has lost at least 2 inches of height already.

Love your holiday crafts for the shop! I had put up a few things with the intention of giving Scotty something pretty to look at...and it's a good thing I did because I no longer care about this year's holidays. And I have a houseful of people coming next week....gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm glad you're back! As usual, I just love those pictures of your parents.
Your things for the shop look so cute! I will have to take a serious look - after Thanksgiving. My daughter and sil are coming tomorrow, and I am keeping everything open so we can spend as much time as we can together.

I'm so glad I found your blog. I, too, have a mother with Alzheimer's altho mine lives with us. Also I cut her hair and even color it! She's 87 and still doesn't like gray hair-ha, ha.
I feel like I've found a soulmate.
Thanks --Nerm

I've missed you too! Is it your sister that is called June? My moms name was June. Funny story, her best friends name was May and she was going to name me April, but instead she came to the conclusion Jacqueline was better. Tee hee, I'm named after Jacqueline Kennedy. Loved seeing your mom again...I love those posts!

How special to have a daughter like you. My sister is the one who lives close to my Mom and takes care of her hair. You've made some beautiful Christmas things.

You really are a Jill of All Trades! It's always good to see the vintage and modern pictures of your Mom on Wednesdays. I really like your new Christmas items and appreciate the "Merry Christmas"..rather than the generic Happy Holiday! Are you having a gang at Thanksgiving? We're going to be part of a gang at my sister's in New Jersey. Love it when the family is together! Wishing you Blessings...you are one to me! xoxo

What a lovely vintage photo of your mom. Was her hair naturally wavy back then, or was that just the style at the time? Love her hair in that photo. She is just as cute today! Your felt trees look lovely with the buttons as ornaments. I would love to try something like that. So pretty.

How beautiful your shop is! The hearts are extra special, the trees extra cute! Your gingerbread countdown is a great idea even for "grown-up" children. So happy you are on-line again - I for one so look forward to visiting your wonderful blog! Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Elizabeth
