Wednesdays With My Mom

I can't get over how adorable my mom looks in this photo with her mother...my wonderful grandmother, Cee-Cee. Darling...both of them! : )
Three Frosties because...
my sweet Sara came along with me last Wednesday.
I started thinking about how my mom used to love doing paint-by-number and thought maybe she would enjoy a very simplified version of something similar.
She LOVES dogs!
And she caught right on.
Most of you know how much my mom loves Westerns. We watched an old one, I didn't recognize, with her last week. I KNEW you would get a kick out of the Closed Caption here. Hee-hee! : )
Happy Wednesday.

Have you tried Wendy's frosty-cino? It is delicious and habit forming!!! That is a grand photo of your mom and grandma. How sweet that your mom loved coloring the dog. I can't help but notice how pretty her hands and nails are. Thank you for sharing your mom with us. God bless you all.

ML, your picture of your Mom and grandmother reminded me so much of my Nonna- she was lean with those long legs (which I did NOT inherit!). I love those old pics. Your mom looks like she's really enjoying your gift {{Hugs}} to her

The picture of your Mom and Grandmother is great but when I enlarged it, I thought the sky behind them looked a little like the Wizard of Oz! Good choice for your Mom's crafting ML! I see your little birdies have all flown the coop! They sure were cute!
The closed captioning...yeah, TV has really changed...and not always for the good! So funny!

My father-in-law loves Frostys - chocolate ones! One of those, along with Wendy's chili and a baked potato are one of his favorite meals. once he told that their chili was "way better" than mine!! : )
I figure at 92 choose whatever chili he wants to!

You have some wonderful old photos. Thank you for sharing them and for sharing Wednesday with your mom. I so enjoy seeing what she's been up to. Such a sweet lady!

I also wanted to tell you how much I love your new bags and birds!

My parents always view shows with the close captioning too. It is funny how many words get spelled wrong. Glad your daughter could join you for your visit with Mom.

As I sat with my mom yesterday, I thought of you. Wednesdays with our moms! As much as I was aware of the clock ticking away the time, I sat with patience. My time with Mother is more precious than the traffic mess that faces me the longer I visit with her. I would do anything for her...as she has done for me over the years. You remind me to cherish this time.

Can't ever beat a frosty break.

Coloring is so great for your mom. My grandmother has a huge walnut tree and spends much of the winter cracking the nuts open. My mom also sends here buckets of pecans. It is so good for her and she enjoys it while watching tv.

What sweet days you all have.
