Much Ado About Nothing

I've been having fun playing with my collection of Birdcages. The gold owl is a gift my brother and I went in together, as teenagers, to buy for our mom. I'm now the proud owner. Thanks, Steve!! : )
And please don't ask me what year that was because I have Alzheimer's now and can't remember...(liar, liar, pants on fire)...Oh, the vanity!!! I'm still trying to organize my fabrics. This below, is really storage for shoes, but it works nicely for all my polka-dot and floral fabrics. It's freestanding with a metal frame and came from Target.
Below, is a shelf in my laundry room. I got the hanging basket-shelves from Ross.
(On) the shelf are six plastic shoe containers . When fabrics are just stacked vertically on a shelf, they all fall over when pulling out a selection. I really like this system, which I saw somewhere else once...don't remember where now. Thanks anonymous person. : )
I hope you're all doing well these days. I don't get around blogland like I used to, and won't be able to for a couple more days. Take care-------ML

It's always fun to get organized. Wish I could get organized, but right now I am doing good if I get the dishes done!

You're very good at playing with birdcages and you have some really nice ones to play with. Love the little birdies inside them and the gold owl is really fun! What a treasure and what a sweet memory!

I think I"m jealous of your organization. Maybe someday when I'm like 60 I can get on top of things like that!

Great ideas! My fabrics are totally helter skelter. They need to get organized! I'm thinking that owl is from the late 60's. We were 2 or 3 then weren't we? Mimi

Aaaaaah! I NEED to get my sewing area in shape. It exploded all over the up stairs and is slowing creeping into other parts of the house!( did you ever see better off dead? The green slimy stuff the mom makes for dinner? It slowly creeps off the plates... that's my sewing mess, across the landing down the stairs....lol)
Yours is looking great! Love the bird cages.I have a thing for owls...
Enjoy your week end
