Here's a little something my friend, Margie, taught me to make last year. In case you didn't bookmark it, here you go...
We used her steamer to flatten the cones.
Once inside, put the lid on, and wait for a minute and a half.
They will flatten, like so:
VERY QUICKLY, take it out and shape, like so:
Next, fill with fun Fall-colored candy.
Last... wrap in plastic wrap, add ribbon and card. ENJOY!!
The big day is almost here. Is everyone at your house getting excited? We altered a little "Goddess" costume over here last night. : )
Happy Fall,
Mary Lou

A goddess??? Can't wait to see this!
A little hocus pocus fun I see is brewing down your way. I love the fun times of Halloween. I've never taken it seriously, it's pure fun and you always succeed at rolling out the fun times for us to follow.
I apologize for being so late and absent. I'm adjusting to working full time again and quite frankly, my energy has been low and tired. Need a good iron build up and a good dose of cute should do the trick!
Happy trick or treat week!
~Jacqueline~

Those look wonderful. I have never seen those little corn candy before. Do you mind sharing where you found them? I agree with Vivian, a cute ideal for Thanksgiving!

Great idea - thanks for sharing it with us. I am trying to be good and not indulge in the treats to much this year - so far it is not working. :D
Thanks for stopping by. I did the editing on the daisy in picasa. I need to take the time and try picnik out.
Oh my gosh, Mary Lou, these are adorable. I think you just solved my Thanksgiving party favor challenge. I'm going to buy a package of cones and see how well I can steam/bend them and go from there. Thanks for the inspiration! :o) xo
