Christmas Decorating 2011

I've always wanted to do a 'Candyland' tree. Thanks to Target and Walmart I was able to do it pretty cheaply this year.

I got this "half-tree" at a local boutique a few years ago. It's so perfect on the landing where there's limited space.

I tried something a little different on the archway this year.
I think I like it. : )

Pretty at night, too!
New fab pillows at Target this year!!

Family room:

Two new glitter houses from TJ Maxx, this year.

Are you as in love with 'Prep and Landing' as we are over here? I picked up this DVD from Walmart this year. It's the original...not the new one from this year.
Just a little fun on the kitchen counter.

And my miniature 'Williraye' nativity. I'll always treasure it!!
I trust you're all having a good holiday season out there. I know I've been MIA.
Take care and enjoy the Season!! : )

Your home is magical, a real wonderland. I was just thinking how much your husband must love the way you decorate so beautifully for each season and holiday -- making your home together look beautiful. And for the kids. So much fun!!!

The "candyland" is so sweet! A half-tree is an awesome idea for a tight space. I love the trees and reindeer display...and the archway looks perfect day or night!
My daughter snatched up one of those Target pillows...she got the Santa. The whole bunch of them are so cute.
"Prep and Landing" has been a hit at our house since the DVD came out...I caught my husband watching it the other day! On Thanksgiving Day I give my grandbabies their new Christmas PJs, a book and an ornament. This year the book was "Prep and Landing" and the ornament a whimsical elf.

ML - your home looks so wonderful, you have quite the touch for decorating! I hope you and your family have a joy-filled Christmas!

How do you have the energy? Don't tell--our stockings were never hung, the tree only got decorated on the top half with breakable ornaments, and the other decorations are all in the box after E broke the first one I took out. Its like I'm Scrooge or something!
