A Little Christmas Tweaking

Well, since some of the stores have started cutting their prices on Christmas merchandise before the "big day", I decided to take advantage. However, the little birdcage below was just a splurge while I was Downtown this past week. I added the nest, bird, and holly.

I added some more "words" to my tree.
I've been wanting these aqua trees ever since they put them out in October, but this past week Michael's put them on sale for 50% off. Welcome home little trees. : )

Another one I took advantage of was these cute little candy canes. Perfect for my Who-ville tree

I bought this CRAZY CUTE dish from Marshall's last year. I LOVE the handles!

These next three little guys are not new. I found them in a box I'd forgotten about, in my closet. I almost lost the joy of adding them to my Winter Wonderland this year.
So glad they made it just in time for the celebration! : )

Remember this Pottery Barn inspiration? Well, I've been meaning to add larger silver bulbs to my apothecary jar for over a week. I finally did it.

Okay, a cute story: I went to put something away in Sara's room tonight and found that she's been keeping up with her countdown chain. It made me happy. I know...silly me. : )

Even though she's my big girl now, sometimes she's still my little Sara. Love you cutie!!!

My "little" Sara.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your daughter is beautiful.

I'm loving the who-ville post. The red with the grinch green (the color I call it anyway) is fantastic. The colors really pop and look so festive.

Have a great Sunday.

I find bags I've forgotten about all the time. It's kind of sad in a fun way. You were lucky you found yours before the holiday. HAHA. Your little Sarah is so cute. Don't they grow up too fast? Have a lovely holiday week. Mimi

I couldn't believe all the steals before Christmas. You have made the most of it....you home looks GORGEOUS! Do you think they will slash prices even more the day after or everything will still be 50% off. I have been avoiding some splurges just to see, but am afraid I may miss out and they'll be gone.

Love those new trees you found. My Michael's didn't have the blue trees, so you are lucky! I also like your little green snow covered trees. Your mantel is pretty too. Big Lots had a pretty church this year that also lights up. Also like your Whoville tree. Isn't it fun buying ornaments? I have way to many, but can't seem to stop buying them. It must be a disease!
