Daughter Does Her Mother Proud

Have you ever heard the phrase, "Like mother, like daughter"? Well, when it comes to Holiday decorating, the saying applies to all my children. They've happily carried on the tradition of going ga-ga over the holidays. : ) We went out to my married daughter's place last weekend and here's what we were greeted with.

Also, last Saturday, we had these two little pumpkins over for awhile while Mommy and Daddy ran some errands. So...we colored some Halloween pictures.
Oh, notice the cute hair bows daughter made for the girls.

We watched one of our favorite Halloween shows, 'The Halloween That Almost Wasn't'. We've watched this every year since...almost forever. : ) Our other fun tradition is to watch 'The Ghost and Mr. Chicken', with Don Knotts, while we carve our pumpkins. It's a "must-see"!
Grand finale where the Witch flies over the moon.
Next we made some Halloween cookies. YUM!!

Enjoying their work. : )
We are going to miss this little Trick-or-Treater this year. He is in London with his mommy and daddy. : ( Daddy is there working, and mommy is there going to school.

We love and miss you guys. The holidays won't be the same without you this year!!!
I'm behind in catching up on your Sites. Don't give up on me, I'll catch up over the weekend.
Have a great one!

The "boo" letters: TOTALLY going to be copied over here! Those are TOO CUTE!! I'll have to check out the movies yall watched- things now a days are just a little too intense for our sensitive Miss O- Its hard to find something fun to watch this time of year!

Building these types of memories in what matters. I loved seeing the little girls and the tradition of the Halloween movies. The bows in their hair inspire me to make one for my little girls...wonder how a pomaranian and a chihuahua would look with Halloween bows. Adorable and fun time.
My daughter can't decorate at all, that is why she has me. When we had our consignment store she would say...I'll do anything mom but don't make me decorate! Happy Halloween Cheers to all of you!

It's genetic! There are bona fide future generations of Martha MacGyvers! I believe we shall have to call your daughter MM2 and her daughters MM2a and MM2b.

The photos gave me a gigglefest of delight!

It is always hard when you can't be with ALL the ones you love. Hopefully, they will send you lots of pictures. Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.♥

There is nothing like a day with the grandkids. Thanks for sharing your traditions and new memories. I miss being close to mine. I have so much fun when I am with them and I am so attached.

I did spend last weekend with our little two year old grandson at Disneyland and also spent one day making a "Max" costume. Good thing one of my kids still lives close by.

Mom! I'm so embarrassed! I'm just an amateur compared to you! Thanks for all the sweet comments, though. If I wasn't so busy going to school I'd have done a whole lot more. Thanks for passing on a legacy of cooky-ness, mom. :)
