Wednesdays With My Mom

I'm not sure where this photo fits in chronologically, but it's beautiful so I thought I would use it this week.

First off, I just wanted to let you know that I've had computer problems all week now. I keep trying to stay on top of a computer virus. I've even called my computer-guru son in London twice and things are better, but there are still some things to work out I can tell. We have a Firewall, AVG anti-virus and just installed the latest Ad-aware program, so we'll see. Anyway, I've hardly visited any Sites this past week because of it. Hoping this week will be better.

These photos are actually from last Friday...long story. But I have a cute story to go along with the pic below. As is the usual case, this little device is put on the index finger. But my mom asked the assistant if she would mind putting it on her ring finger. The cute little assistant sweetly obliged and changed fingers. : )
Dr. T... What a good sport! These pumpkins below went to different homes, but they've kept me out of trouble for the last little while.
Here's a sneak peek at one of the things coming to the Shop next week. Just the little felt trees, not the pedestal they're on. Thanks for the suggestion, PJ. : )

And I thought I'd go ahead and throw these last two pumpkins in the Shop now, before it gets any closer to Thanksgiving in case someone had a need for them.

Last year I took my pumpkins down and used them on our Thanksgiving table. Fun, fun!

Have a good Wednesday.
M.L.

Hi M.L.
As always I am so thrilled to see you when you go and visit your precious Moma. I love to see her little smiling face. The pics are priceless.

I love your pumpkins displayed on your mantel. They looked so beautiful all in a row.

I also love the little felt trees. They are so precious popped into those spools though. Just darling. I love to come and see what you have created.

Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and see me soon. I love visiting with you. Country hugs, Sherry

Hi, M.L.!
That picture of your mom from yesteryear is so sweet.
I hate having computer problems! I get so flustered whenever something happens. Hope all is well with yours now.
I can't wait to see what's in the shop for Christmas. I really like those trees.

Oh my gosh...what a gorgeous dress your Mom has on in the older picture. I know I sound like a broken record but she always looked so glamorous! And she looks happy in the new pictures. I love the cute felt tree! The last time I had a virus I finally gave up and had to FORMAT & start over! Yikes! Hope yours gets cleared up soon. :)

M.L. can you please tell us how it was that your mother was always so beautifully dressed at what seems to be every occasion. It is quite amazing! Was it the times she lived or was she beautifully dressed even on stay at home days. I loved the "ring" story, so sweet. Beautiful holiday table setting, so inspiring. Trees, a must have! Spectacular all around! Thanksgiving blessings to you and your loved ones. Elizabeth

You have made a lot of pumpkins m'dear!
Your mom does look quite glamorous - I love that brooch she's wearing.
It's nice the nurses are so accomodating for her - I say "whatever makes them happy"

I'm sorry you've been having computer troubles!

Your mom is just adorable. The first picture of her is just stunning. I love her white gloves, and tailored coat. What a beautiful lady.

I just love the pumpkins you make. The black and white ones are lovely!!! And how cute are the Christmas Trees. I like you you put them in old spools. They are much cuter than the ones I purchased last year.
WELL....Have a great day, and good luck with that darn computer.

I truly enjoy your "Wednesdays with my Mom". I am sure she looks forward to them as well. Mothers are so special and there is nothing like the bong between a mother and her daughter. I have a two year old princess and she is my world, not that my boys aren't there is just a bond there!! Enjoys your Wednesdays!!!

HI Marylou!!!!
I think your Mom is just precious, she probably thinks that thing is to fit her for a ring or something special like that!!!! Or her ring finger holds alot of meaning and memories!!!I have to ask you a question, tablecloth at Thanksgiving or Placemats???? I think it is going to be a small group here for Thanksgiving, like maybe 8 so small enough to all sit at 1 table!!!!
So I was pondering that one!!!!
I think I'm leaning towards placemats!!!!
hugs,
jamie
your Mom looked lovely in that pic as always!!!

The pumpkins are exquisite...but then everything you do is.
I enjoy your psots about your precious mom. Your mom is so cute and I totally relate.. we have to keep smiling.:-)
Dad called and said he needed help. "The thing that scratches my back is broken." My husband said "dad you don't have anything that scratches your back." Dad got frustrated. Mr B was perplexed. I thought and then I remembered the back had come off his razor last week while I was there.
His razor wasn't working again!:)
Sometimes we have to be very good detectives!
Thanks for the comments about his eyes. He was so lucid the whole day of the funeral. It was a beautiful gift from Heavenly Father to be able to see and converse with his loved ones.
Hugs my sweet friend~♥
