A Little Valentine And...Game Day

I recently did a Valentine trade with my friend, Joyce.

Below, is the incredible, beautifully handcrafted Valentine Joyce made for me. Even the tiny little envelope was handmade by her. Thank you so much, Joyce. I love it as much as the one you made me last year. : )
AND...Reflections of...
Game Day:

Snacks for the Pre-Game!!!
Lots of lounging.

Our favorite Commercial, by far...(little Darth Vader)!!!!
The Kid-Corner for when the game got "boring".

So sorry about the final score, Joyce! : (
Evening wrap-up...a game of Memory. : )
If you'd like to make a stuffed Valentine, feel free to use the pattern below. The fabric came from a "used store" (can't remember which one now) in a package already cut into. I'm sorry I can't tell you where to get more.
Happy V-Day! : )

That heart is so pretty. The fabric is just adorable. Wish I was the "Joyce" who made it but I can't sew a button. My thing is baking. I have to agree that the Darth Vader commercial was the BEST and made me laugh out loud. Happy Valentine's Day!

It looks like you had a lot of fun! The Valentine is so cute. BTW I went through every post of the wedding (I was MIA in blogland for awhile) and it was probably one of the cutest and sweetest weddings I have ever seen. I cannot get the bridal bouquet out of my mind. It was remarkable. I can see that used for other things besides a bridal bouquet. It has been so much on my mind that I want to give it a go and use mine as a decoration. Lord only knows I have the jewelry pieces to make one or two or three or ten!
Have a great week! Sue

I LOVE the valentines. So sweet.
Oh, and I would have been in the 'bored' corner with the kiddos.

Very Pretty! The game was on here, but I was not really any attention to it, as I am not a football person. I would have probably had to join in the kids corner. :D

What a sweet idea! I love the hand holding it and the santos angel I'm drooling over. I have always wanted one but the ones I have seen are pretty pricey!

Happy V-Day almost!

Adorable little heart hanger! And Joyce is such an artist. Love her work. Lucky you! Is that little marshmallow heart left over from last year? Or do they have some more this year? I was afraid to save mine. Didn't want ants in the storage room...Mimi

I'm so glad we did this trade Mary Lou (although I think I was on the better receiving end!) I was in Arizona last week and just got back to freeeeeezing temps and snow. I'm happy for the Packers (no, really)...they played a great game and the QB is so cute! Hahaha! I've enjoyed all of your wedding posts-the pictures were amazing but not even close to being there I'm sure!
Sending hugs your way!
Joyce
Dath was my favorite, too. Even without seeing his adorable face-the body language was a riot!

That Joyce sure can make some pretty things. Perfect for your Santos vignette!!!

Wow, how wonderful to be on the receiving end of Joyce's creation. It is really pretty and so personally designed for you. I love hand crafts. That is one reason why I'm representing artist and crafters in my new shop. To think that an idea is formed and that idea goes right to the heart and to the hands...to me, that is Valentines day all year long.

Fun to see everyone hanging out, doing their own thing on game day! For some, a day of tension, and for some, a day of pure rah rah, shish, boom bah...go team!
