SEW FUN !!!!

Look what came in the mail this week...such LOVELINESS!
I got my two "charm packs" from here.
I bought them for this (below). Thanks for the inspiration, Rachel!
I ordered the pattern here.
But... before I can make that (above), I need to finish this (below).
This is how far I've gotten so far (below). I need to keep pushing through until I complete it. It has been SO fun to make, so far.
The pattern came from this book:
And speaking of sewing, I purchased this darling purse, with small make-up bag, from Cyndi's Re-Creations in her Etsy Shop here.
And a big THANK YOU to Ruth Ann for this Giveaway I won, below. She included lots of extra goodies along with the movie. We finally watched it last night. I was impressed that it had a meaningful message and wasn't just a frivolous romance.

You might also enjoy visiting Ruth Ann's charming Etsy shop here.
Have a good weekend everyone.

What a beautiful quilt you are working on! Summer goal - make my first quilt - beware sewing machine! Absolutely took my breath away to see your mother's honeymoon picture at the Grand Cannyon! Reminds me of my "clueless" visit there! Another story! Have a wonderful week! E

Your header is so cute! Love the quilt you're working on! I really need to get on it - I've been wanting to make a little quilted runner for my dining room table for over a year now but never have the time to sit down and put my fabric together!

I love your header on your blog. Such cute Easter decor. I guess I should think about getting mine out. I'm in the middle of projects so thought maybe I wouldn't decorate this year but I have some great things I added to my collection last year that you are inspiring me to get out.

Congrats on winning the giveaway. Lucky you. I never win any.

Your new fabric is beautiful and will make a great quilt. Your basket quilt is a super design. I took a quilting class once...long ago and we did everything by hand, piecing, sewing and quilting. I made 4 pillows learning basic nine patch, curved piecing, applique and trapunto. I never made a big quilt....but I do collect them and have them hanging all over the walls of our house. They truly are beautiful works of art. Can't wait to see your finished masterpiece!
