Wednesdays With My Mom

Mom was really young in these photos. These are before she met my dad. What a Fashionista!!! (Is that even a word?)
So the entertainment down at the clubhouse today was this singin' cowboy. What a great show. He sang a little bit of everything.

Ooooh, what's this I see... a little favoritism?
Looks like my mom's still "got it goin' on" : ) HOW CUTE!!
My favorite part of our day together was when we were at the grocery store and I asked her, "Hey Mom... want to stroll over to the magazine aisle and skim through a few just for fun? She was all for it, so we ended up looking through the latest issue of Speigel. I wish you could have been there. Fashion and landscaping have always been my mother's greatest loves. It was so interesting to hear all her comments and observations on all the beautiful new Fall fashions we saw. A good day indeed!

I love the pictures of your mom. I wish we still got dressed up like they used to in the day.
I'll look at pictures of my grandparents & they were always dressed like they were heading to church.

I'd love to hear that singing cowboy too.

I love your Wednesdays with Mom. So special. I also miss the way women used to dress. It was just classy.
That cowboy really looked like he was flirting with your mom!
Have a great weekend,

Um, I'm pretty sure I would be happy as a clam to live in your daughters room with those damask walls!

I see where you got your poise and beauty! I wish I could have known her then. I too am amazed by the clothes! Even the gentleman in the background was dressed like he was straight out of a movie. It seems like sucha romantic time.

I use the word fashionista(to describe what I am not). Your Mom is one beautiful lady, and I have enjoyed reading your older posts that I have missed. I hope to have some pumpkins done tomorrow.

Looks like you had another fun day with your sweet mom. Sometimes we think older people aren't interested in the same things we are and that they are just done living which is so not true. Your mom is proof of that!
