Whoville Tree, Revisted

I'm still deciding if I'm going to do the "Whoville Tree" this year, so in the meantime I thought we could enjoy the photos again. These pics include my 'Whoville I' and 'Whoville II' from both years.

It all started when Sara and I went to Costco last week and saw THESE: (*Note: from an old Post)

Which included lots of these, below:

AND THEN,"I GOT AN IDEA........A WONDERFUL....... [WICKED] IDEA."!!!!

So, here we go...

I won't be adding a lot to my Shop this Christmas because I'm busy with some special orders for my Bird Cake Toppers. But here's a few things I've added in the past week.

Enjoy the Season!!

On the Town...Cameras in Tow

A friend of Sara's got married last week and she was one of the Bridesmaids. We combined that event with a couple of shopping days to some of our favorite spots.
First stop, 'Banana Republic' to use a giftcard Sara had.
Cute outfit!
See this camera, below? Sara and I had both saved pictures of it to our files, at separate times.
Then when we stopped in at Urban Outfitters, there she was in all her cuteness!!!
Below, something so clever!! A wall of little frames that look like Polaroid photos. It's just the frames that make them look that way.
Love the printed owl put onto a pillow, below!
Next stop...'Anthropologie'!!
We were both clicking away. : )
I'm pretty sure this necklace was made out of REAL glasses frames. Great idea!

Another day, we went to our favorite boutique in town. They were all decked out for Christmas.

This little plaque (below) made me "scream and shout" with laughter. I just had to share!
Here's my little "fashion plate", below. She is the queen of Thrift Store shopping. That beautiful wool tweed jacket only cost her a few dollars.
Same with the wool skirt, below. Her necklace is not made from real glasses, but it sure is cute.

Pretty bracelet, below, is from Forever 21. She got the very last one for a discount because it was from last Season. Lucky girl!
Even though this photo (below) was taken last year at the same boutique as above, it reminds me of how blessed I am to have daughters who still think it's fun to go shopping with Mom. One of the things I'm most grateful for during this season of gratitude. : )
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Inexpensive DIY Centerpieces

My daughter, Emily, found this idea from a blog named 'The Colorful Living Project'. A big thanks to them for such a GREAT idea!!!
The first step is the funnest!!! Drink six sodas all by yourself in 10 minutes! J/K! :-D
Take outside to spray.
You will thank me later on the "secret weapon", because I wasted a lot of time experimenting with all the wrong and time-consuming stuff first.

Idea #1: SPRING/SUMMER
Idea #2: FALL
We're making these for an upcoming church leadership meeting. Thus, the tags...
But you could also do something like this below:
I got the tags at Staples.

Happy Fall! : )
