Sermons From the Bathroom Mirror

I just made this into a little card tonight. This saying (which my brother first told me about), has been up in my kitchen for years now, but only on a plain yellow note card.
I scanned the cover of the book that I got this darling bunny frame from (below). The big red dot on the book signifies a sale (from Barnes and Noble). A "treasury" indeed. Every page is filled with wonder. I got it two weeks ago, so hopefully they still have some left if you are interested. But please feel free to copy and print any of the note cards I've posted over the last few Sundays.

Actually, this little sign has been up next to our front door for years now. I thought it would be good for the kiddos to see this each day (or evening) JUST before they left our home...as a little reminder. : )

I've been such a slacker this week. But I couldn't resist adding to the "Sermons..." post today. It's a little embarrassing how old and dated this looks. I hand wrote it back in the '90's. Oh well, at least the message will never be outdated.
This was on my children's bathroom mirror for years. Like Janice, from Grams Blog and Marie, from Spun by Me, alluded to... The kiddos need to do something while they're brushing their teeth. Why not make it a teaching moment? : ) If you missed last week's, click here.

P.S. I wish I could remember who the quote was from. It was in a lesson I was teaching to a group of young women one Sunday (a LONG time ago). I made one of these for each of them to take home and then came home and put it up at our house too.

Sermons From the Bathroom Mirror

A most interesting thing happened last Sunday. When I posted "Hillbilly Commandments", two women said, "I should post that on my children's bathroom mirror." It reminded me of all the times I, too, posted little quotes for the kiddos to read while brushing their teeth.

Well, this is one of them that has been around for awhile. Pretty self-explanatory. I have a few more that I will post over the next few weeks.
