Wednesdays With My Mom...a little late.

A little late because real life happens. In a perfect world all we would do is blog and create. : )

While my parents were engaged they bought this new automobile so they could travel from California to Iowa, during their honeymoon, to meet part of my Dad's side of the family.
I got extremely brave and colored my Mom's hair this past week. She looks pleased. : )

Here's the little tree I brought over to my Mom's place and decorated on another night last week.

I couldn't believe I found rust ornaments. Rust is one of my Mom's favorite colors.

Hope you're enjoying the holidays with the ones you love!

The Halls Are Decked...hee-hee!

Been collecting all these little guys for years (half price after Christmas)...with the exception of a couple I added from Hobby Lobby this year.

This little guy waits all year long to get decked out.

for this great idea with the giant peppermint sticks from Dollar Tree.

My quilting buddy, Margie, made me the snowman pillow a few years ago. I still need to finish this Santa one I'm making to match.

NEXT STOP: Our sweet nativity on top of the piano. I hope you're all enjoying this beautiful season which reminds us of the greatest gift ever given. : )

If you'd like to see lots of other Garland ideas, head on over to

The Nesting Place for her party. Thanks, Nester!

Not a Creature Was Stirring...that's because it's way past my bedtime!

Can't take credit for this little guy...I bought him at a cute little boutique recently.

Pottery Barn inspiration...not even close, but it still makes me happy. These are plastic grapes...maybe that's my problem. : )

A BIG THANK YOU to Living Locurto for this giveaway I won.
