I've mentioned before that my mom LOVES to observe every little delightful thing around her. I so admire that!
Here's what she was admiring on the wall. A beautiful Watercolor of trees. She was so taken with the lovely colors. Me too.
As instructed, reading over the info to make sure it's all correct. I told her how cute she was as I was snapping photos of her. She always responds the same..."Ohhhh", in disbelief. Silly Mom!
Well, we never got around to finishing her floral arrangement this day, because we got all caught up in a "tweaking" project. You probably can't see what we're trying to accomplish, but my mom wants to darken one strip of the mirror to match her new candlesticks since they're right next to each other. Pix to follow! : )

Your mom just seems like the sweetest lady. I can see why your mom made such an impression on your dad....gorgeous! You are so wonderful to make sure each week she has that special day with you and vice versa. Tweaking is always good. I can't wait to see the mirror and candlesticks.

I love that picture of Grandmother, Dad had it on his desk all growing up next to a picture of Grandfather in his military uniform. Those are always what I see in my head when I hear stories about when they were younger. Just beautiful!!
The House of Whimsey is so lovely for spring! Your mother is just like my mother-in-law Ruth still tweeking her beautiful room at her living facility. Oh Yippee! I was waiting to see someone decorate for Easter (love your new header)...I have been wanting to break out the bunnies...Glad to your Mom getting use out of her bargain jacket...she was and is a stunningly beautiful woman.
