- Actually about that PHOTO! Sara was taking candid photos one night while the whole Fam was at Chick-fil-A. I decided to use it because it made me look younger. When my married daughter ,Emily, saw it she said ever so sweetly (really), "Ah Mom, you're not wearing any make-up in that photo." I said, "Yeah, but it makes me look younger than I am." I chose younger with no make-up as opposed to older (with) make-up. Go figure.

That's a HUUUUUUUUUUGE reminder. Kind of glad it wasn't by my childhood home's front door...or maybe it should have been....hmmm... Seriously, that reminder looms quite effectively, doesn't it? Why is Jesus always depicted as white, when we know being born in that part of the world, and additionally living before sunscreen was invented, he really couldn't hae been. Rhetorical question. :)
Ha! I had left your blog up on the computer while I ran to refill my coffee. I came back to find my 3 yr. old sitting in the chair with his mouth hanging open. He pointed to your header with wide eyes and said, "WOW! How did she DOOOO that?!?!" (Gotta love a guy with good decorating taste! heehee)
Always a good reminder. That and "Remember who you are!" Don't know if it did any good but I tried. Mimi
I'm with Mimi Sue, tried...... still have a return with honor sign on the wall going up my stairs ....maybe it's time to move it to a more high trafic area :-D It all helps! ♥

Some how with a great Mom and Grandma as you they did always come home with Honor!!!No damage done and brought honor back home!!!

That is THE best sign!! Perfect!
That's a really good reminder! I put "Be Strong in the Lord" with a drawing of a little soldier boy on my boys' door. The younger boys were thrilled. My teenage son just rolled his eyes at me.
I had that sign on the inside of our front door. so, everytime they went out side and into the world it was there for them to see. I think they wanted to return with
honor. Great reminder.
That's a good one, it sorta give the chills too...like if you're naughty you're gonna get it. :)
OH, I do this very same thing, I even posted about getting my point across, by signs throughout the house. At one point I think they're looking at you while you're talking, but they are masters at tuning you out.

I love it! This is just the perfect reminder- I could see Heavenly Father putting this reminder by the door of His own home as we left His presence :)

I like that.
This is a wonderful example to compare with one of my grandparents. Well one grandparent and one strange person he remarried. At their home, next to the door, as the last thing you saw was a sign that said, "Don't go away mad, just go away." Hmmmmm.
I have that very saying above our front door. LOVE IT!!!

I love that sign, especially by the door. When I was a teenage girl, my dad would say..."Jacqueline, Remember who you are". I would love for you to come visit my blog at Once Upon a Fairyland. I've enjoyed my time with you and will come visit you often. Blessings from Washington State!
