"Old Lady Facebook"...Hee-hee!

Funny Story: When I first started blogging, my youngest daughter walked by her sister and me and said, "Whatcha doin'?" Big sister, Emily, said, "I'm helping Mom set up a Blog." At that, little sister rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, that's just Facebook for old ladies." We all "Laughed Out Loud"!!!
But I got the last laugh because I told her, "Just wait, when you're an old married lady, you'll join the crowd too, cuz it's just So Much Fun!!!" This Post is all about "Case in Point". Look who has an ADORABLE "old ladies Facebook"!!! : )
Sara's Blog is mostly a "Fashion Blog", where she tells where most of her things came from and how to dress on a budget. I'm very proud of her.

Sara's also having fun photographing her cute new apartment (as seen below).

I close with this fun "blast from the past"...the photo on the left is me (way back when...and wearing my husband's glasses, btw). The one on the right is of another current Fashion Blogger. Sara says all my "old styles are coming back". What goes around comes around, right?
To see more of Sara's fun Fashion Blog, go here, and tell her...... her momma sent you. : )

Yep - They tend to find out we are not such "old ladies" after all. :-D I remember when mine would turn up their nose at something I would suggest they buy, then raid my closet to find something to wear similar to what I suggested. :D.
Enjoy your evening.

Great post!!! So funny how they say "Our styles are coming back"...and we are all out hunting for that "old stuff we loved as a child"... The other day my 20 year old daughter asked me..."Mom where are all of your old glasses" (I've worn glasses since 1971 and kept them all) I asked why she wanted them and she replied ..."I want to do a photoshot!!" Hahaha That made me laugh!!! as did your post! Thanks for sharing...and your daughters blog looks very cute...love her style!!!

Ha ha! I remember reading that post. I have to say I really appreciate fashion blogs because for the past several years I have sortof given up on myself and they inspire me to at least look like I am trying.

I love to hear my mom when she sees anything on TV say, "That's what we used to wear when I was in high school!"

Love it! My daughter thinks my stuff is "old lady stuff" too! I asked her yesterday if a certain package had arrived in the mail (a win from a fellow blogger) and her response was "I can't keep track of all of the packages you get!"... like it's a daily thing! I love being so UNcool...
P.S. I had a senior picture taken in a wicker chair just like that!

Every time I see something that color blue, I think of Sara.

I wore those wedged shoes in the EARLY 1970's...for real.

What goes around absolutely comes around.
